A Blanck Canvas

A Blanck Canvas are a Melbourne based production company specialising in incredible giant luminous puppets! I was helping with the Chinese New Year celebration Water Dragons, Animals for the Electric Kingdom display and for the MOOMBA parade. I was predominantly working from patterns on soft fabrication, working with EPE and EVA foams and contact adhesives, stitching skins and fabrics, and installing lighting elements within the foams. I was also assisting with hard fabrication building aluminum armatures. A dream job!
