Alien Obelisk

It's actually called "Shrine To An Alien Dildo" but that's not super professional. Originally for an alien themed party for my community in Australia, it was also featured as part of the UV garden for the Bear In The Big Blue Share House exhibition for Elysium Festival, used as a prop for an alien themed photoshoot and finally sold to an eccentric collector!

Inspired by undersea volcanic vents, coral reefs and their magical UV qualities, this sculpture is made from plaster, expanding foam, chicken wire and all sorts of random recycled plastic objects. The character that emerged from this form was a wonderful accident, but he certainly has an interesting creature like vibe to him! A smoke maching fits inside for added atmospheric intrigue.
